Sundown Safari at Southwick's Zoo on May 22 for Daisy, Brownie, & Junior Scouts

Sundown Safari Program for Daisy, Brownie, & Junior Scouts at Southwick's zoo in Mendon on Saturday night, May 22 from 6 to 8 p.m. Juliette Scouts in grades K-5 may also register for this special program by the Girl Scouts of Central & Western Massachusetts Council.
PROGRAM: Zoo staff will guide you through an after-hours adventure. Go behind the scenes with an exciting tour that brings you up close and personal with many exotic species. Scouts will learn about the history of the zoo, captive versus wild environments, exhibit design, adaptations, animal behaviors, enrichment and healthy diets. Some of the animals that we'll focus on are: tortoises, giraffes, parrots, kangaroos, monkeys, chimps, white rhinos and large cats.
Bring your flashlights!
This event is for Troops and Individual Scouts. Troops must adhere to safety-wise rules. Individual Scouts must attend with an adult.

Registration cost is $20 per Scout and $20 per leader & adult volunteer.
Registration will end when 80 Scouts have registered or on April 23.
