For the Birds Workshop for Junior Scouts on Saturday, May 15 in Worcester

Girl Scouts of Central & Western Massachusetts Council is offering a For the Birds badge Workshop for Junior Scouts at Broad Meadow Brook in Worcester on Saturday, May 15, from 9:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Juliette Scouts in grades 4 & 5 also may register. Troops and individual Scouts may register. Troops should adhere to safety-wise rules. Individual Scouts must attend with an adult. Adults may be expected to help at the workshop.
Badge workshop: Become an ornithologist (a person who studies birds) while earning Our Council's Own For the Birds Badge as we explore the fascinating world of birds. Learn about beak adaptations, bird calls, feathers, migrations and so much more. Learn from naturalists and go for a hike on the sanctuary grounds for a bit of bird watching!
The badge is not included in the registration price and must be purchased at GSCWM Store, like Worcester.

Registration fee is $8 per Scout. Leaders and adults are free.
Registration deadline is May 14 or when 30 Scouts have registered.
